| HAPPY FEBRUARY! January was an exhilarating month; we kicked into 2012 with tons of excitement! The Confirmation class spent the month of January learning about Joseph and Moses and how God is so amazing and unique in how he protects his children in all walks of life. Just ask the 6th & 7th graders what their favorite part of Joseph and Moses' stories were - you'll hear some very fun opinions! As we go into February, it will be another month of non-stop events with our first one being on Sunday, February 5, our rescheduled Family Ski Trip. We will be leaving the church parking lot at 1:00 p.m. Please know that this is an event for ALL FAMILY MEMBERS NOT ONLY YOUTH; if we have 15 or more people signed up, the lift ticket cost is only $27 with a ski rental price of $25, so please bring your friends...it will be a great time! February 10th we have another ski trip planned for the youth, however, this one is a little different; Welch Village Ski Area is hosting the "Churches Lock-In" that evening. Cost for this adventure is $39 for a lift/lesson/rental with the lesson being optional or $27 for only a lift ticket. Season passes DO NOT apply to this event. It begins at 11 p.m. going until 3:30 a.m. I will need help with drivers and adult helpers. Please email me at firstprezyouth@gmail.com if you can help at all! February 12th we will be having our first brunch of 2012 so be sure to stay after church that Sunday and bring your sweetheart to have some Valentine's pancakes supporting our middle school and high school mission trips! Youth please be available to serve & also don't forget we're serving the community dinner on February 29th for the Lenten service here at First Prez. Youth be at church ~ 4:30 p.m. to set up! Parents and adults I would like to do a lock-in at the church in March which can only happen if I have supervisional help from you!
